漫遊素有「小潮州」之稱的九龍城，沿街老舖林立，街頭食香四溢，每一道滋味背後，皆蘊藏著在香港落地生根的潮州文化，令人心馳神往。 這片不大的街區，是異鄉人憑藉刻苦耐勞的精神立足香港、安頓身心並承傳家鄉文化的所在。早期來港的潮州人，面對語言不通、物資匱乏等重重困難，卻能憑一門手藝在九龍城紮根立足。以創發潮州飯店為例，作為「外來者」，在艱辛中開創生機，歷經數十載仍屹立不倒；更以一鍋精心調製的鹵水贏得口碑，使鹵水成為潮州菜的重要代表。走訪貴嶼仔後亦會發現，即使傳統祭祀用的糖塔近乎失傳，仍有人默默堅守工藝。或許一座糖塔製成後需等待經年方能售出，但匠人仍不改初心，延續技藝。由此可見，潮州人憑藉「一鍋鹵水、一雙巧手」，在九龍城開拓出屬於自身文化的天地。 此行最令我動容的，是體悟到文化從來不是固守一隅，而是能跨越山海，在他鄉與在地文化交融並延續。九龍城的潮州社群，將原鄉的民間信仰與飲食習俗帶到香港，例如「豬頭」造型的祭祀糕點、盂蘭勝會等，皆為潮州文化的重要組成部分。這些傳統來到香港後，與本地生活方式相互融合：手打牛肉丸結合港式粉麵，成為節奏急促的都市中深受歡迎的日常便餐，逐漸形塑出別具一格的香港風味；又如每年定期舉辦的「香港潮人盂蘭勝會」，既保存傳統，又融入本地社群，讓文化得以延續與更新。由此觀之，香港在融合潮州文化的過程中，不僅保存了傳統，更孕育出嶄新的文化樣貌，使其成為中華文化重要的分支與延續。

本校於2026年7月3日舉辦了「優質學校改進計劃：中藥紮染工作坊」。活動以「從體驗到欣賞」為主線，透過親身參與，引導學生認識中華傳統工藝，培養其對中華文化的欣賞能力，並理解傳統智慧與現代生活之間的連結。 活動先由導師介紹防染的基本概念，並示範各種工具所呈現的不同效果，從而引出傳統紮染技法「紮、針、蠟」的特色。學生在觀摩傳統作品的過程中，逐步理解各種技法所展現的多樣紋樣與藝術效果，進一步體會中華工藝的精巧與深厚底蘊。其後，學生親自運用中藥材進行紮染創作，製作頸巾及手巾，體驗中藥材於染色上的獨特表現。創作過程講求耐心與細緻，學生在反覆嘗試中展現個人創意與風格。完成作品後，學生不僅能欣賞自身成果，更能從中感受傳統技藝所蘊含的美感與文化價值。 是次活動成功引導學生由體驗出發，深化對中華文化的認識與尊重，並啟發其思考傳統智慧如何在當代生活中延續與轉化，充分體現文化教育的深遠意義。
為了提升校園的普通話學習氛圍並加深同學對中華傳統文化的認識，本校普通話科於七月二日成功舉辦了精彩紛呈的初中「普通話日」活動。首先登場的是「川劇變臉表演」，本校邀得變臉世界紀錄保持者韋瑞群大師到校表演，大師隨著音樂節奏在瞬息間變換出多張色彩斑斕的面譜，引來全場師生雷鳴般的掌聲與歡呼聲，最後更變出校長的模樣，將禮堂的氣氛推向高峰。同學更有機會上台與大師進行互動，學習變臉的功架。 小休過後，多項精彩的普通話活動在校園各處同步展開。有蓋操場上傳來陣陣悅耳的歌聲，由現場樂隊帶來的普通話歌曲表演吸引了大批同學駐足欣賞，台上下打成一片。普通話攤位帶領大家認識中國的著名景點，寓學習於娛樂。與此同時，校園定向活動讓同學們一邊尋找指定位置，一邊運用普通話進行任務挑戰，展現了團隊合作精神。 此外，各班課室亦變身為充滿文化氣息的「中華文化工作坊」。中一級的同學專注地在「臉譜繪製工作坊」中發揮創意，親手繪製專屬的面譜；中二級的同學則在「青花瓷工作坊」中感受傳統工藝的素雅之美。 是次活動讓同學們在輕鬆愉快的環境中切磋普通話，並深刻體會到中華文化的博大精深。

On 25 June 2026, twenty-five Shungtakians participated in the Mental Health Fun Day organised by the Mental Health Foundation at Ocean Park Hong Kong. Centred around the ‘4Rs’ Rest, Relaxation, Relationships, and Resilience, the event offered students a valuable opportunity to recharge after the Final Examination.
