CURRICULUM AIMS

  • To provide a balanced and well-defined programme of creative, performing, as well as listening activities to students.
  • To develop students’ musical literacy and musical sense through joining music related activities.
  • To develop in all students basic skills in instrument playing.
  • To enhance S2 to S3 students’ ability in instrument playing to a higher level through the Self-Development Plan.
  • To enrich students’ knowledge of music and better prepare them for the challenges of other subjects.
  • To develop students’ creativity through music composing.

Moreover, this curriculum provides more opportunities for students to appreciate good music from across the world as well as promote the sense of nation through different activities in music lessons.
