COMPULSORY SPORTS EXPERIENCES AND OUT-OF-CLASSROOM LEARNING

To complement our regular curriculum, the Physical Education Department organizes mandatory sports experiences and off-campus visits for all students each year. These enrichment opportunities are designed to broaden our students’ athletic horizons, introduce them to unique sports cultures, and foster a deeper appreciation for physical activity beyond traditional sports. Because we value a diverse and progressive learning experience, these activities are tailored specifically to different forms, and the designated programs vary from year to year. In previous years, Shungtakians have had the privilege of spectating elite athletes at the National Games, visiting the Tuen Mun Public Riding School to experience equestrian sports, and learning specialised sports such as curling, floorball, and Mölkky during regular PE lessons or through after-school sessions.
