“For the Service of Mankind” – the St. John Cadets are committed to offering first aid and community care services to the general public.
The aims of the St. John Cadets are as follows:
- Training in discipline, team spirit, and communication: Through foot drill exercises, students are provided with opportunities to develop discipline, foster a sense of teamwork, and enhance their communication skills.
- Acquisition of important life skills: Students have the opportunity to learn essential life skills, particularly in the area of first aid. They are equipped with the knowledge and practical abilities to provide initial medical assistance in various situations.
- Cultivation of empathy at a higher level: By engaging in first aid training and participating in community care activities, students develop a heightened sense of empathy. They learn to understand and empathise with the needs and challenges of others, promoting a compassionate outlook towards the well-being of their fellow community members.
The St. John Cadets play a crucial role in providing valuable first aid services and contribute to the welfare of society. Through their participation, students not only enhance their personal development but also make a meaningful impact on the lives of others.
