「仁者自愛,力臻美善」

今個月的分享主題是「仁者自愛,力臻美善」,在開始我的分享之前,我想請同學檢視一下自己的站姿,是否端正?有沒有將身體傾向某一邊?同學的手有沒有放好?仍然好像很有型般插在褲袋中?還是「翹埋雙手」?桌面上的課本筆記合上了沒有?祈禱手冊準備好了麼?在早會站好、專注是學生應盡的本分,顯示對講者,對場合的尊重,亦是自重的表現,理應不需要提醒。能自重即代表你能自愛。   「仁者自愛」一語出自《論語‧孔子家語‧三恕》。有一次孔子向學生提問:有仁德的人,到底應有何表現?子路答道:「仁者使人愛己。」認為仁者應能讓別人愛護自己;子貢答道:「仁者愛人。」認為仁者應懂得愛護別人;顏回答道:「仁者自愛。」認為有仁德的人應該愛惜自己。對於三位弟子的回答,孔子最認同顏回的說法,人能夠做到自愛,才算是真正明白道理的君子。傳統的儒家思想認為由天子到庶民,都應以修身為本,惟有做好個人本分,懂得自愛、自律、自重,然後才可推己及人,懂得愛人、助人,使天下止於至善。   到底怎樣才能做到自愛呢?當然不單愛惜身體那麼簡單。孔子特別重視學生從「德」和「學」這兩方面加強,一個人如果品行有虧,私德有損,見識短淺,試問又怎可以自立自強?如果我們注重自己的品德修養,會不時對個人、對生活加以反省,勤於改正自己的缺點,遇到不如意事,就不會只一味推卸責任、苛責別人,反而會懂得體諒和寬恕,人與人之間自然能減少許多紛擾和怨恨,關係自然更加和諧美好。當學生的,準時上學是你們應盡的責任,遲到時應該認真檢討原因,而非怪責輕鐵脫班、不滿太多人排隊乘電梯,或是埋怨家人在早上霸佔著洗手間而遲到。又例如在一個團隊中,每個人都做好自己應做的本分和責任,互相支持,萬一遇上狀況都不會發生互相推搪指罵的情況。我相信如大家能夠事事求諸己,時刻反省,努力做好自身,你的品德有所改善之餘,學業成績定會有所提升。如果連自己本分也做不好,還如何期望有能力去兼顧身邊人?這好比一個體弱多病的人,一心想救急扶危,只能徒嘆力不從心了。   剛開學不久,望各位同學能立志做個自愛的仁者,成為一個更好的人。   Ms. KY Wong

團隊合作與配合

學校運動會雖然已經結束,但大家對該兩天所發生的事情又有多少印象呢? 在比賽場上,健兒們認真作賽,各社員就在場邊吶喊助威;跑班際接力時,各班同學都在歡呼大叫,鼓勵班代表努力為班爭光;亦都有同學即使筋疲力竭到腳抽筋,仍然堅持要落場為班跑接力;每一位同學都朝著同一個目標而來—-就是為自己的團隊爭光。其實,我們都有屬於自己的團體,而在團體中會有著相同的信念和目標,在過程中會互相支持和努力,我們會以團隊的利益為先、我們會為它付出、講求負責任、願意為團隊發展與成員交流溝通,這些正好反映了若我們對團體的信任和歸屬感,希望用自己的力量使它變得更好。 要令團隊合作得好,在乎我們如何作出配合,而你又覺得自己可以在團隊中擔任什麼的角色呢?你又願意為你的團隊付出幾多呢?希望大家都能盡己之力,樂意為所屬的團體付出。 Ms Lam WY 2 May 2024
