明天是2022年7月1日，香港特別行政區成立25周年。因為各種防疫措施，今年的慶祝活動未必和往年一樣熱鬧，至少沒有了煙花匯演。 然而25年卻是一個重要年份， 因為25年正是50年的一半。這裡的50年所指的是時任中國共產黨中央顧問委員會主任鄧小平於1984年提出的方針，全稱為「一國兩制、高度自治、港人治港、現有的資本主義生活方式五十年不變」，該方針被載於《中英聯合聲明》 第三條及附件一，《香港特別行政區基本法》第五條亦有相應規定，當中提到「香港特別行政區不實行社會主義制度和政策，保持原有的資本主義制度和生活方式，五十年不變」 。 在過去25年，在以上的方針下，香港實行一國兩制，維持資本主義， 即由自由市場主導，資金自由流通、貿易零關稅、健全的私有產權法制等等，讓香港經濟仍然可以穩步發展。香港國民生總值GDP，由1997年的1770 億 USD，到2021年的 3200 億 USD ，增長有80%；又例如港交所，從一個區域性證券市場，變成了一個中國資產對外的窗口，吸引了大量國際資金來港投資內地資產，從1997年底，只有101家內地企業在港上市，佔港股市值20%，截至2021年10月底，在香港上市的内地企業共1210家，佔港股市值超過60%。 我們作為香港人，在往後的25年，應如何自處？香港作為彈丸之地，一個外向型小規模經濟體系，在發展上必須依靠外在力量，隨了經常提及的背靠祖國外，新一代必須認識香港的優勢，其在於既能透過與內地接軌，開拓發展空間和動力；同時藉著一國兩制，維持香港成為中國資產對外的窗口。早幾年最常聽到的是一帶一路發展商機處處，只要香港把握機遇必定大有作為。而近年在《十四五規劃綱要》中，粵港澳大灣區已經成為國家發展戰略，只要進一步深化粵港澳合作，充分發揮三地綜合優勢，促成區內的深度融合，推動區域經濟協同發展，建設宜居、宜業、宜遊的國際一流灣區。這些都是香港的發展方向，大家不能不知。 崇德人，你為你的未來做好準備？ 最簡單可以從提升語言能力著手。能說流利普通話，是進入來地市場必須的，我校已經有不少同學具備這種能力，因此我呼籲這些同學應該把握在校學習英語的機會，特別在 EFAD，多講英文，這是與外國經商必須的。其他以廣東話為母語的同學，千萬不要對普通話戴上有色眼鏡，當你們揶揄普通話For All Day的同時，要了解將來在工作上甚至在生活上，普通話是無可避免要使用的語言，講得好一定有益處，而英文就當然不能缺少吧！ 今年七一的主題是「砥礪奮進廿五載　攜手再上新征程」，在此祝願崇德人在未來路上都可以攜手努力，砥礪奮進。 Mr. Ho L.
