The Movie: “Sunshine of My Life” (一路瞳行)

While I am writing this sharing to talk about Love is Patient, it is so ironic that I can’t be patient with my kids since they bother me with thousands of questions, what are you doing? Why do you still work at home? When can you play with me? Can we have some snacks before dinner?

Then, I google some tips about patience in parent-child relationship, it is interesting that most of the articles are about how to become a more patient parent, but rarely point out how kids to be more patient with their parents. Parents are always reminded to have patience as children ask questions because of curiosity. However, teenagers feel so annoyed by answering questions from parents, even those questions are because of love and care.

Recently, a movie named “Sunshine of My Life” (一路瞳行) is now showing. Let’s watch the trailer first. CLICK HERE to Watch

It is based on real people and events, and that’s because the director, Judy Chu, herself was raised by blind parents. In the movie, Yan Yan gets along well with her parents when she is a kid. But as she grows older, she finds that her parents are getting more and more dependent on her to the extent that makes her feel suffocated. Then, she decides to get away from her family and live her own life, but she finally realizes that she cannot just break this family tie. Is it a sad ending or happy ending? Please watch it to find the answer. And this is also the reason why I introduce this movie to you today.
