In our life, multiple people appear around us. They can be somebody you hate, somebody you are familiar with or someone you love. Among all these, parents must be the most important people in our life, they are always next to us. When we are frustrated and desperate, they always encourage us. When we are disobedient, they always teach us patiently. When we face difficulties, they always give us the strength to let us stand up from the failures. If we didn’t have our parents, we would not be who we are today.
Someone said, ’Every family has a skeleton in the closet.’ We believe that most of us have had conflicts with our parents before. Sometimes, the conflicts make us think we do not love our parents. For example, parents sometimes hurt our feelings, do we still love them? Conflicts seem to be the opposite of love, knowing how to handle conflicts and feel more love from each other are very important. Therefore, instead of having bad relationships with our parents, we should try to change our point of view from our parents ‘ perspective. And then, you should go to communicate with them because communication is the best way to solve the problems. We should communicate with our parents to let them know our thoughts. Sometimes, not only we can know more about our parents’ ideas, but they can also discover more about us. Therefore, when we and our parents know more about each other, it is a chance to grow and feel more love between us. Knowing how to love our parents and how to resolve conflicts is important.
In our daily life, there are many things we can do to show love to our parents. Have you ever mopped the floor or done the laundry? Your parents need to take care of these household cleaning even when they are very tired. Maybe this is the opportunity that you can help your parents by doing some tiny work so they can have time to rest. This is a way to love your parents. Showing love doesn’t mean that you need to hold a big show and tell everyone you love your parents. A little action is enough for this. A substantive action speaks louder than words. Your parents must be pleased when they see you help them.
Also, there are more interactions between you and your parents. These interactions can create more topics and enhance the relationship. Your parents have a chance to get along with you. You can have more understanding about your parents too. It is much easier to show love to your parents. You know what they like and don’t like. Therefore, you can accommodate them at the right time. Being a good son or daughter is not easy so we have to learn. We hope all parents can feel the love come from their son or daughter.
