Welcome back! I hope your Chinese New Year holiday was filled with warmth, laughter, and cherished time with your families and friends. I wish you all a blessed, healthy and joyful Year of the Horse. May this year grant you the strength and vitality to gallop like a horse toward your goals and leap over every hurdle in this year.
As we begin March, we introduce our new monthly theme: “Options for the Poor.” To guide us, we look to the life of Mother Teresa, a woman who defined compassion. She spent her life in the heart of India’s poorest slums, choosing to stand with those the rest of the world had simply forgotten.
She once said,“Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.”
This is a beautiful reminder for all of us. We don’t need a big stage to make a difference; we only need a willing heart.
As Shungtakians, Servant Leadership is one of our character traits.
Let’s move forward as the “hands and feet of Christ” within our Shung Tak family, casting small stones of kindness that create endless ripples of hope.
