早晨。生態保育可說是今日社會經常談論的課題，而早在幾百年前，天主教會亦已有一位聖人——聖方濟‧亞西西（St. Francis of Assisi），他於1979年獲時任教宗若望保祿二世奉為「生態主保」，恰巧今天正是他的紀念日，讓我們了解一下他對大自然的看法。 聖方濟一生愛主愛人，過著神貧的生活，而他對大自然的熱愛更為天主教生態觀提供了很多的啟發。一首〈萬物讚頌歌〉正反映出他對大自然的喜愛之情。聖方濟視大自然為弟兄姊妹，是一家人，彼此都是天主所創造的，都是天主所喜愛的。在作品中，他稱自然萬物為兄弟姊妹，從日、月、星辰，風、水、火、土，花、草、樹、木，到海裡的魚、天空的鳥、地上的走獸、地下的生物，只要是天主創造的，都視他們為姊妹弟兄，更邀請他們一起讚美天主，他認為萬物眾生，包括我們人類，都是平等的，都是一家人，這種想法可以令人對大自然多添一份愛，學會尊重和欣賞它。 反觀今天，我們又如何對待大自然呢？過渡消費、浪費資源等成為了我們恆常的習慣，而世界亦出現了溫室效應、厄爾尼諾等現象。但其實環境被破壞，受苦的到頭來亦都是我們人類。因此，正如昨天同學的分享中也提及，要好好保護環境，「再用、再造、再節約」3R必不可少。 最後，但願我們可以效法聖人，當好地球的管家，尊重和愛護大自然，學習與它共處，返璞歸真，使地球重新成為一個宜居的安身之所。   Ms. WY Lam

今個月的分享主題是「仁者自愛，力臻美善」，在開始我的分享之前，我想請同學檢視一下自己的站姿，是否端正？有沒有將身體傾向某一邊？同學的手有沒有放好？仍然好像很有型般插在褲袋中？還是「翹埋雙手」？桌面上的課本筆記合上了沒有？祈禱手冊準備好了麼？在早會站好、專注是學生應盡的本分，顯示對講者，對場合的尊重，亦是自重的表現，理應不需要提醒。能自重即代表你能自愛。   「仁者自愛」一語出自《論語‧孔子家語‧三恕》。有一次孔子向學生提問：有仁德的人，到底應有何表現？子路答道：「仁者使人愛己。」認為仁者應能讓別人愛護自己；子貢答道：「仁者愛人。」認為仁者應懂得愛護別人；顏回答道：「仁者自愛。」認為有仁德的人應該愛惜自己。對於三位弟子的回答，孔子最認同顏回的說法，人能夠做到自愛，才算是真正明白道理的君子。傳統的儒家思想認為由天子到庶民，都應以修身為本，惟有做好個人本分，懂得自愛、自律、自重，然後才可推己及人，懂得愛人、助人，使天下止於至善。   到底怎樣才能做到自愛呢？當然不單愛惜身體那麼簡單。孔子特別重視學生從「德」和「學」這兩方面加強，一個人如果品行有虧，私德有損，見識短淺，試問又怎可以自立自強？如果我們注重自己的品德修養，會不時對個人、對生活加以反省，勤於改正自己的缺點，遇到不如意事，就不會只一味推卸責任、苛責別人，反而會懂得體諒和寬恕，人與人之間自然能減少許多紛擾和怨恨，關係自然更加和諧美好。當學生的，準時上學是你們應盡的責任，遲到時應該認真檢討原因，而非怪責輕鐵脫班、不滿太多人排隊乘電梯，或是埋怨家人在早上霸佔著洗手間而遲到。又例如在一個團隊中，每個人都做好自己應做的本分和責任，互相支持，萬一遇上狀況都不會發生互相推搪指罵的情況。我相信如大家能夠事事求諸己，時刻反省，努力做好自身，你的品德有所改善之餘，學業成績定會有所提升。如果連自己本分也做不好，還如何期望有能力去兼顧身邊人？這好比一個體弱多病的人，一心想救急扶危，只能徒嘆力不從心了。   剛開學不久，望各位同學能立志做個自愛的仁者，成為一個更好的人。   Ms. KY Wong
