Six Years, One Family: Our S6 Thanksgiving Journey

By 6J Jacky Chung

3 February 2026 marked the end of our six-year journey in secondary school. As we donned our full school uniforms and entered the hall for our final prayer service, a torrent of emotions filled my heart. These feelings led me to look back on my life and my transformative years here at Shung Tak. When the sharing session began, the touching memories of friends and teachers brought tears to our eyes. My classmates created a special video recapping our time throughout senior school; every laugh, every tear, and every milestone documented our growth.

After these six years, I am grateful that we are not just students or graduates—we are Shungtakians. Following the emotional video, our supportive and loving teachers gathered to offer a final prayer, blessing us with their warm hands. We are deeply thankful for their love, kindness, and guidance. They have shaped us into better people and proud graduates. Now, bolstered by their support, we are striving for excellence during our study leave as we do our best to conquer the DSE. It will certainly not be the last time I say these words: “Saints Peter and Paul, pray for us; and may God bless us all.”
