The Physics Club organized an engaging visit to the Hong Kong Space Museum on 25 June 2025. This educational outing was designed to ignite curiosity and enhance students’ understanding of astronomy and physical sciences through interactive exhibits and an immersive sky show.
A group of 15 enthusiastic students, primarily physics students and Physics Club members, participated in the trip. They explored the museum’s interactive displays on space exploration, celestial mechanics, and the mysteries of the universe.
These hands-on exhibits provided a dynamic way to connect theoretical physics concepts with real-world applications. The displays allowed students to engage with complex scientific ideas in an accessible and exciting manner.
The highlight of the trip was the sky show, STARMAP to the Unseen Universe. With stunning visuals and insightful narration, the show captivated students, offering a mesmerizing journey through the stars and deepening their appreciation for astronomy.
This visit enriched students’ knowledge and fuelled their passion for scientific discovery. By bridging classroom learning with real-world experiences, the Physics Club continues to foster a love for science and inspire students to explore the vast possibilities within the field of physics.
