On 30 January 2026, our school was honoured to have invited Lagchun from Defining Education for an inspiring talk. Shungtakians gained valuable insights into time management strategies, cultivating a growth mindset, and overcoming academic challenges. Lagchun opened the session by reflecting on his own experience sitting for the DSE examination. He shared practical tips on how he balanced his study schedule across various subjects, teaching students how to manage their time more effectively.
Beyond academics, Lagchun explained how he balanced his diverse identities as a PhD student, singer, and mathematics tutor. He encouraged the audience to embrace their multifaceted potential, noting that ‘life is not like a multiple-choice question; our life can have more than one choice’. His story served as a powerful reminder to make the most of our talents in every area of life.
