With the first organised test done and dusted, it is time to unwind. On 4 November, Cacilhas hosted the ‘Switch Match’, where expert teams battled for the championship title. By collaborating in games like ‘Bomberman’, ‘Mario Kart’, and ‘Overcooked’, pairs of players paved their way to the podium through increasingly challenging rounds. In addition to the eight competing teams, all students were invited to watch and enjoy the highlights of the matches. Their loud cheers in the back provided vital support for the participants. The ‘Switch Match’ defied the common stereotype of video games being harmful to teens, showcasing how online gaming can promote relaxation, entertainment, and camaraderie among classmates. Thanks to the enthusiastic participation of all players, the event was a tremendous success! Congratulations to our winners, and a heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make such an engaging experience!
