On May 4th, members of our marching band participated in the May Fourth Flag Raising Ceremony, under the guidance of the Equator Dragon Drum and Bugle Corps. The opportunity also gave us a chance to work with other secondary school students. On the day of performance, it was really hot but in spite of this, we persevere and were able to stay focussed. The day brought another opportunity to learn many lessons and we certainly were able to grow in experience. Learning is not just about what is in the books but experiencing all that life has to offer.
