Our trip to PMQ in Central was an unforgettable journey, centered around the work of Belgian artist Stefan Jacobs. Stef specializes in creating vibrant ponies inspired by the extinct eohippus, which he calls Evohippus.

During the workshop, we collaborated with Stef to design our own Evohippus. He encouraged us to tap into our inner child and not feel pressured while creating. I aimed to combine elements of the cosmic galaxy, nature, and abstract concepts in my design.

After our creations, Stef provided valuable feedback and surprised us with souvenirs. We captured the moment with a group photo, cherishing our shared experience.

The workshop was followed by an exploration of the unique stores of PMQ, each with its distinct aesthetic. While some of my friends bought entertaining toys, I was captivated by the shiny jewellery and beautiful leather bags. The atmosphere was calm and refreshing.

On our bus ride back to school, we laughed and chatted about our experiences. I learned to relax and let my imagination flow in my artwork.
