Embracing Servant Leadership: Reflections from Our School AGM

As per school tradition, the Annual General Meeting (AGM) was held during the post-exam period. This meeting not only informs schoolmates about what has been accomplished by our Student Union, Clubs, Houses and Societies but it also allows Shungtakians to respectfully raise questions.

This provides our members and chairs with the opportunity to address students’ concerns and see how they can take on suggestions for improvement. The AGM also marks the end of service provided by the student organizations. It is also to help future leaders to consider suggestions made and to improve so that they can provide the best when they take office.

The time is a reminder of the importance of servant leadership and Shungtakians spirit to serve. This time is also for the Students Union, this year. Destello, to, on behalf of the Shungtakians, express their gratitude to all the student organizations. Destello believes that all Shungtakians will continue to recognize the importance of and embody the spirit of servant leadership.
