Shungtakians had the chance to take part in Calligraphy 1000″ – Celebrating the 75th Anniversary of the Founding of the People’s Republic of China on 14th September 2024. The experience of learning more about Chinese calligraphy together was more than just fun.
Through writing the idioms that admire the great achievements of our mother country, we realized that the prosperity we enjoy today is hard-earned. The event gave us the chance to express our deepest respect and gratitude through Chinese calligraphy work.
By combining art with the contributions of the People’s Republic of China, we had a meaningful lesson which deepened our appreciation for Chinese culture.
