Be an Effective Learner: Empowering S.1 Students for Academic Success

In October 2025, the ‘Be an Effective Learner’ programme, jointly organised by the Guidance and SEN Committee, Academic Affairs Committee, and Research & Development Committee, was successfully concluded. The programme offered valuable support to all Secondary One students as they prepared for their first organised test. It strengthened students’ study habits and boosted their confidence. Held on Saturdays, the sessions provided a structured environment where students could consolidate their knowledge with the guidance of dedicated tutors. Through interactive activities and personalised support, students learned effective strategies for time management, note-taking, and exam preparation. Thanks to the collaborative efforts of staff and tutors, students felt more equipped to tackle academic challenges. The programme not only enhanced their learning skills but also fostered a positive attitude toward lifelong learning. We believe the skills gained through this programme will empower our students to embrace challenges with resilience and curiosity.
