The Rosary Gathering was one of the significant activities in October, the Month of the Rosary, and this was my third time participating. The gathering lasted for two days. On the first day, unlike in previous years, we made bookmarks with dried flowers to commemorate our Mother Mary. It was a straightforward activity, even for someone like me who is not skilled at handicrafts. I was able to create a finished bookmark easily, which felt very satisfying. As the dried flowers were roses, they served as a reminder to follow the example of Our Lady. On the second day, we prayed the Rosary in a dialogue format, as if we were truly talking to Our Lady in her presence. With many people attending, I was able to focus completely on the prayer. We meditated on the Glorious Mysteries, which remind us that Jesus Christ has conquered death. We should learn from Our Lady’s loyalty to God, which enables us to have a relationship with Him, just as He has a relationship with us. As we prayed together, I felt that Our Lady was patiently with us and that God was always beside us, offering guidance. Through prayer and asking for Our Lady’s intercession, I felt closer to both her and God. In conclusion, we participated in the Rosary Gathering to foster a deeper intimacy with God through love and to pray for world peace. I hope to see even more people joining the gathering next time.
