Recently, the Mock Trial Team members are preparing assiduously for the upcoming competition. Before this, we were honoured to have an amazing opportunity for a friendly match with Our Lady of the Rosary College on 5 December. As a new member of the team, I was not able to be an official contestant during the match as my tactics and skills still have considerable room for improvement. Before the match started, I had low expectations as it was scheduled to take several hours, which I thought would be dull. However, things did not go as I anticipated. The activity was definitely a blast. I gained a springboard for improving my skills by observing the outstanding performances from both schools, which I can use in formal competitions next year. In conclusion, every practice and friendly match in the Mock Trial Team is a challenge and a midpoint for me to become a more skilled member, boosting my confidence in presenting ideas during competitions. Inevitably, this friendly match broadened my horizons within the Mock Trial Team, and I look forward to the coming obstacles and opportunities I will face in the future.
