The topic this month is about taking responsibility, we might have heard the term ‘responsibility’ for many times by now. Whether it is from Mr Manchester in term one that we have different hats and responsibilities, or from Miss Lau that we must be responsible for our appearances or our behaviours, we Shungtakians are not

Mr. Kwan Y. Nowadays, it is common to hear “This is your responsibility, not mine. ” or “This is your fault, not mine.”. Of course, we know that taking responsibility may not be an easy task. It may cause unwanted consequence. If we take the responsibility, we need to spend much more time on it and even we

The theme of this month is taking responsibility. To me, it’s not just a matter of responsibility. It’s the result that we achieve with our responsibility. To be more specific, to what extent do you fulfill your responsibility? Mediocre, average, or outstanding? I will take students as an example. You have the responsibility of learning

You might have already known what our responsibilities in different roles are. But did you take action? Taking responsibilities involves keeping promises, completing tasks, and being responsible for the consequences of mistakes. Everyone should be responsible for the surroundings, for others, and for themselves. To shoulder responsibilities, let’s adopt the following attitudes. The first attitude

Taking responsibility is never easy, and sometimes it takes courage too. But that is how it helps us grow. Today, we would like to share a story about taking responsibility. We hope how George Washington dealt with responsibilities can inspire all of you. One day, Washington’s father gave Washington an axe as a gift. He

What is responsibility? Perhaps as a secondary school student, ‘responsibility’ sounds like something far away from us and is difficult. Actually, responsibility includes a wide range of things that even you and me can bear. Things like simply handing in homework, being a punctual student, studying for your tests and examinations are signs of taking

First of all, I’d like to ask you a question, ‘Who’s responsible for your life?’ For many people, every mistake they make can be someone or something else’s fault. They blame others or make excuses for failure and excuses about their undesirable actions and behaviour. Blaming others and making excuses show that one does not

Sometimes we might think, why and how should we take responsibility? Now, let us tell you a short story. Once upon a time, there were two families living nearby. One family was constantly arguing and even fighting among themselves while the other one lived peacefully. Feeling curious and jealous about how nicely the neighbouring family

Taking responsibility for your own actions means that your first reaction when a mistake is made or a conflict arises isn’t to blame others, make excuses, twist the facts, or flat-out lie. Instead, you swiftly acknowledge there is a problem, identify your role in it, and implement an action plan to minimize the chances of
