It is my honour to be a helper in the Closing Prayer Service this year. Doubtless to say, it was a wonderful experience and it meant a lot to me. Many students think that the Closing Prayer Service marks the end of the academic year and the beginning of the summer holidays. However, I believe that the Prayer Service means much more than that. It has given me the time to reflect on my performance in the last academic year and plan what I should do to improve in the coming year.
Moreover, I was so glad to be one of the guitarists in the Prayer Service. Since I had never done that before, I felt anxious when I was playing the guitar. Wanting to perform better, I practised hard. I was thankful for having teachers’ support. Last but not least, I would like to thank God for giving us this moment to review our performances and I look forward to meeting my schoolmates soon in the new academic year.
