Saturday, 27 July 2024Christmas surely has a very special meaning for Shungtakians in 2021 because there were no Christmas gatherings and prayer services between teachers and students for the last two years in Shung Tak due to the pandemic. Thanks to God, Shungtakians could finally gather at school and celebrate the nativity of Jesus through the Christmas Prayer Service, which reminded all Shungtakians that the meaning of Christmas is about the love of life and the light of hope, just like how baby Jesus came to earth in the manger.
Moreover, Catholic Society made a short movie along with the students from Pui Shing Catholic Secondary School, which was shown during the prayer service! The laughter from teachers and students were priceless. The short movie is about a student finding the true meaning of Christmas and the theme song is ”聖誕路上” (Road to Christmas).
Let us thank our Lord for the eternal love and hope that He has given us and teach us to find true happiness through sharing with others.
