As the saying goes “ten years of practice for one minute on the stage”, after hours by hours of practicing, 9 members of our school Chinese Orchestra performed together with other schools which was organized by Tuen Mun Arts Promotion Association on 4th February 2024. Our school is honoured to be invited to be one of the schools in this joint school event, Chinese Orchestra Annual Concert. The melodies ebbed and flowed like waves, with passionate and gentle, which gave the audience different scenes and feelings. The fingertips were dancing across different strings, bringing bursts of catchy music. When we heard the warm applause from the audience in the auditorium, we knew all the hard work we had gone through was worth. From this performance, we could also gain a deeper understanding with the phrase “to serve but not to be served”, although we have paid lots of effort, the satisfaction of applause is much greater than the bitter we experienced during numerous of practice.
