On the feast day of Our Lady of the Rosary, Catholic Society executives took this opportunity to make a promise in front of our principal, teachers and Shungtakians.
As a loving group, Catholic Society has always been faith-centered. We have organised different activities to encourage students to understand Catholicism and strengthen students’ spiritual life. We put the motto of Shung Tak, “Pray and Work”, into practice.
When the principal put the badge on our executives, we felt deeply that we have to shoulder heavy responsibilities as we need to bring God’s love to those around us and spread God’s words in our school.
On the other hand, we are very grateful to be able to serve Shungtakians as executives of Catholic Society. We promise that as the executives of Catholic Society, we will do our best and imitate our patron saints, Ss. Peter and Paul, so that we can become the salt of the earth and the light of the world.
