Guidance Activity Week: Try Myself, Trust Myself 2024;
During the “Try Myself, Trust Myself” Guidance Activity Week from 8 to 11 July 2024, 11 students delved into an array of workshops including magic, arts & crafts, fashion design, and photography. The programme was designed to encourage students to step out of their comfort zones and to embrace the opportunities to try new activities which let them discover their potential and explore new interests. The week-long experience facilitated skill development, and fostered personal growth by challenging participants to overcome obstacles. By the end of the week, students had honed their creative and problem-solving skills, developed resilience and a willingness to try new things. The programme also helped students make new connections, allowing them to form meaningful friendships and learn the value of collaboration in conquering challenges. Through this programme, participants not only broadened their horizons, but also gained a newfound sense of confidence and self-assurance, laying the foundation for continued personal development and the pursuit of new passions.
