On December 14th, our class, 1M, visited a residential home for the elderly and a care centre for individuals with special needs as a way of giving back to the community. In our visit, our class worked together to play games and perform for the residents. At that time, we were able to witness the smiles on their faces which was heartwarming for us. At times, we did feel uncertain but by working together we were able to do better. This time reminded us all how much the elderly need more attention and love from us. We need to show greater compassion to those in care homes. I hope that all of us can also show more understanding to our elderly family members and to those around us.
