Saturday, 27 July 2024Three students joined the Metaverse Creator of Tomorrow last summer organised by the Department of Computing from Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Metaverse, in commercial perspective, is related to the virtual trading. But it also has another meaning, it often referred to virtual reality world, which provides real-time interaction by surroundings, that’s what they were focusing on this competition. They worked so hard in building their ideal virtual reality world form none. Finally, they have won a good prize in this competition, racing with 80 other teams. To be exact, they achieved top 5 in this competition and are awarded the Merit Award. The winners are 5L Ivan Jiang, 5M Jay Shum and 6J Isaac Chan.
