Saturday, 27 July 2024The Principal, Dr. Tang, and our awarded students, 5J Amelia Sze, 6L Cindy Long, 6L Melina Chan, 6M Samson Chan and Tom Ng (Class of 2023), attended the Kanya Lee Scholarship Award Presentation Ceremony on 22nd December 2023. The Scholarship was set up with the aim of helping underprivileged students who are interested in scientific research. Dr Benjamin Xiao-Yi Li, Ms. Leelalertsuphakun Wanee, principals and students from 7 secondary schools in the New Territories West had the chance to get together to celebrate the students as they shared their journeys in their presentations.
Our students were not only inspired and encouraged by Dr. Benjamin Li and alumni’s sharing but also their chats with some students who had realised their dreams through scholarships. The lesson of never giving up but staying determined to pursue their dreams is certainly a message that they walked away with. Thanks to this scholarship, students could boost their potential and contribute to a better future for all.
