This summer, two teams of eight BAFS students participated in an engaging event organized by the Hong Kong Management Association. In total, 75 schools, 107 teams, and 428 students took part in the event in Hong Kong. The competition not only aimed to spark curiosity and interest in the business world among secondary school students, but also encouraged youths to explore and cultivate their business potential. It stands as the sole business management competition in Hong Kong for secondary school students. The teams had the opportunity to engage in a “Chit-Chat with CEOs” session, where esteemed guests like Dr. YK Pang, Chairman of Jardine Matheson Holdings Limited in Hong Kong and the Hong Kong Tourism Board; and Mr. Eddie Ng, Former Secretary of the Education Bureau, HKSARG, shared their valuable insights and experiences with our students. The S5 team made it to the heat event and our S4 team to the semi-final session where they were able to apply the knowledge gained from their BAFS lessons. They were able to step into the role of a company’s CEO, make crucial decisions regarding product development, engage in marketing, and dealing with human resources, and finance. Through this experience, they garnered valuable insights and skills
