It is with great joy that we share a beautiful milestone: eight students from our youth catechism class received the Sacraments of Initiation at Ss. Peter and Paul Church this Easter. Six students were baptised, and two Catholic students received their First Holy Eucharist and Confirmation. We thank God for the blessings bestowed upon these young people and for the school’s dedicated work in nurturing their faith.
May their lives be transformed by God’s love as they share the Gospel with others in love and hope. Below are the reflections shared by the students:
Cheryl: “The interactive games, sharing sessions, and mindfulness practices helped us open our hearts to God and become part of His wonderful family. We promise to tell the world of God’s love and walk by faith.”
Katrina: “Through this catechism class, I learnt more about the importance of having faith and how to truly follow Jesus Christ. I am very grateful to become a Christian!”
Mini: “Teachers’ guidance and companionship drew us closer to God. Every time I open the catechism class handbook, I remember the miraculous journey with the class. I will keep the teachings in my heart and live out God’s love in daily life.”
Isabell: “Thank you to all the Catholic teachers for spending extra time and effort preparing games and lessons for us. I have learnt a lot from this class.”
May the grace they received this Easter continue to grow in their hearts and guide them always. Praise be to God.
