STC Carnival 2024-25

The Interim Exam is finally over, and Shungtakians are ready to celebrate! To help everyone relax, the Guidance Team planned a fantastic event—STC Carnival— in the covered playground on 23rd January 2025. This wasn’t just any event; it was a lively celebration to bring students and teachers together. The area was filled with colorful booths and fun activities that attracted many excited participants. There were games to play, tasty snacks to try, and plush toys to win. The new claw machines drew in many Shungtakians, who cheered for those who managed to grab toys. Everyone enjoyed the lively atmosphere. Many lucky students won great prizes, including cute stuffed animals and delicious treats. But the best part of the festival was the chance for everyone to unwind after the stressful exams. It was a wonderful time to connect with friends and enjoy each other’s company. On hand were also staff from the Wofoo Joseph Lee Consulting and Counselling Psychology Research Centre, Lingnan University. They conducted activities which focused on mental well-being for Shungtakians. Through these engaging games, participants learned effective strategies to cope with stress and anxiety. This festival showed how important it is to come together and have fun, especially after a challenging examination.
