Seahorse Rangers Program

Overall, the seahorse ranger activity was an utterly engaging and educational experience. It provided a wonderful opportunity for students to step outside the traditional classroom and apply their learning to ecological and zoological studies in the Ocean Park. Amidst the activity, we finished a brochure, which provided us with a greater understanding of the ecological and environmental protection done by the Ocean Park. The most significant part of the event was the mission of each participant; we shifted our mindset through recycling via the governmental GREEN@COMMUNITY system and identifying plant species through iNaturalist, which highlights the concept of being environmentally friendly and promotes the use of Green$. I highly recommend continuing this extracurricular activity in the future, as it boosts student morale and confers us with an annual pass!
