S4 Biology Field Trip

By 4J Roy Tang

On 27 May, our S4 Biology students visited the Ho Koon Nature Education Cum Astronomical Centre to learn about symbiotic relationships and how species work together to maintain a balanced ecosystem. The trip helped us develop discernment by observing how different organisms interact, and how each species, whether a producer or a consumer, plays a role in sustaining the food web. We also gained a deeper responsibility towards nature, understanding that even the smallest living beings have their place in a diverse ecosystem. Most importantly, this field study reminded us to appreciate the natural world and feel gratitude for the chance to learn beyond the classroom, inspiring us to protect our environment with care.
