Camping Experience 3J Peppy Cheung
During the leadership camp on 6th and 7th February, I had an incredible and memorable time with my friends, teammates, teachers, and tutors. I learned a lot from them, including many skills such as cooking, setting up a tent, using a map and compass, and team management. One of the main challenges was cooking our own dinner. Not to mention the three hours of time for buying ingredients and the same three hours to cook 3 the dishes which consisted of a soup, and a roast chicken. With the cooperation of the team, we were able to have our best dinner ever. In addition to cooking, we engaged in various team-building games that helped strengthen our bonds and enhance our collaboration skills. The campfire sessions were particularly memorable as we shared stories, laughter, and reflections on our experiences. The biggest lesson for me from this camp is to always have the courage to be proactive as opportunities will not wait for us. Seize your chance for improvement and success.
