Panda Conservation Alliance – Visit to Hong Kong Ocean Park

Learning about our National Treasure- The Pandas

On 29th April 2025, the Integrated Science, Biology, CES, and L&S Departments co-organized an enriching visit to Hong Kong Ocean Park to participate in the educational program “Panda Conservation Alliance”, hosted by the Greater Bay Area Common Home Youth Charity Foundation.

Along with the pair of giant pandas, An An and Ke Ke, donated by the Central Government, there are now six giant pandas in Ocean Park, making it the location with the largest number of giant pandas outside Mainland China.

This activity provided our students with the opportunity to observe our national treasure, the pandas, up close and gain insights into the efforts and achievements in protecting them.

Our country China has done a magnificent job so that we can enjoy their beauty and magnificence today.

Our visit was further enhanced by a lecture delivered by an experienced member of the animal care team at Ocean Park.
