On 2nd April 2025, the History Department organized an enriching tour for S5 students to explore Kowloon City. This trip provided a unique opportunity to dive into the area’s rich history and culture.
Students visited iconic landmarks such as Hau Wong Temple and Kowloon Walled City Park, where they learned about the fascinating past of the Walled City. During their exploration, students were captivated by the story of the Walled City, which was once a place without clear governance.
The tour guides’ engaging explanations kept everyone intrigued, sparking curiosity about life in the past and how people adapted to such unique circumstances. Students also reflected on the importance of preserving local heritage sites like these.
The day was a valuable learning experience, blending history, culture, and community interaction.
