The Junior Singing Contest was held successfully on 8 May, which has left a deep impression on every member of our school community.
In the entire event, everyone could feel the warm and exciting atmosphere that filled the venue throughout the competition. Every class that stepped onto the stage presented a unique and impressive performance closely tied to their respective themes. Form 1 students centred their performances around the theme of Kindness; Form 2 focused on Compassion; while Form 3 showed their interpretation of the theme of Discernment through thoughtful and powerful performances. Their performances are the result of countless hours of preparation and dedicated practice.
We were incredibly honoured to have Keith and Yuehin serve as the judges for this competition. Their professional comments and valuable feedback brought great guidance to all students. What is more, the performances by Lai Ying, Keith and Yuehin added an extra layer of brilliance to the whole event.
This event was far more than a competition for awards. It was a great chance to see the teamwork and unity of each class. It is not difficult to find that behind every wonderful show, classmates supported and encouraged each other unconditionally.
Finally, we should express our sincere gratitude to the school, all teachers, and helpers for organising such a meaningful activity, which enriches our school life and allows us to better understand the power of unity. We are also deeply thankful to every student who participated in the competition, for your hard work and enthusiasm have made this event a complete success.
