Shung Tak is delighted to announce the establishment of a new sister school partnership with Xiangshan High School in Tianfu New Area, Chengdu, Sichuan.
This meaningful collaboration builds upon our existing sister school relationship with Beijing National Day School Jinyuan, which has successfully promoted exchanges and learning for our junior form students. The new partnership with Xiangshan High School will extend these valuable opportunities to our senior forms, enabling our students to gain a deeper understanding of the junior and senior secondary curricula in mainland China, while strengthening their knowledge of our motherland and broadening their cultural horizons.
The signing of this partnership aligns closely with the spirit of the 5th Sichuan-Hong Kong-Macao Basic Education Exchange Activity, held on 9 April 2026 in Neijiang City. Over 400 educators and students from Sichuan, Hong Kong, and Macao gathered to officially launch the Sichuan-Hong Kong-Macao Basic Education Alliance. The event witnessed 17 new sister school signings and reinforced the commitment to deeper curriculum collaboration, meaningful cultural exchanges, and nurturing young people with both national pride and a global vision.
During our visit, we were warmly received by the leadership and teachers of Xiangshan High School. Inspiring discussions took place on teaching practices, student development, and potential joint programmes. This new partnership opens exciting avenues for reciprocal visits, lesson observations, online collaborations, and rich cultural immersion activities that will greatly benefit students and teachers from both schools.
As we continue to broaden our students’ horizons beyond Hong Kong and extend learning beyond the classroom, we look forward to nurturing this sisterly bond through unity, mutual learning, and our shared dreams for the future of education.
