The Handover Ceremony marked an important transition between the outgoing and incoming Students’ Union, house captains, and clubs and teams chairpersons. During the ceremony, former student leaders presented badges to the new leaders, symbolising the passing of commitment and the spirit of service from one generation to the next.
The badge represents the legacy built by those who served before us. As it was passed from the former leaders to the new leaders, it reminded us that leadership is not simply about holding a position, but about carrying forward the values and dedication of those who came before us.
For the new student leaders, this moment marked the beginning of a new chapter. With the trust placed in us, we are determined to uphold our predecessors’ legacy while bringing forward new ideas and perspectives.
We sincerely thank the former student leaders for their contributions and guidance, and we look forward to serving our fellow Shungtakians with courage, dedication, and fortitude.
