On 8 May, our school held the S4 Bible Drama Contest. It was a great chance for us to apply what we had learnt in E&RE class in a fun and creative way through drama. By bringing Bible stories to life on stage, we did not just memorise the lessons; we truly understood them in a much deeper way.
During the preparation, our S4 classes worked really hard. We rehearsed every scene again and again, made our own props, and tried our best to present a great performance. Everyone put in a lot of effort.
Moreover, I was very happy to join the contest as an MC. From the sidelines, I got to watch all the interesting and dedicated performances. I remember everyone laughing a lot and really enjoying the moment. It was just so much fun.
In addition to the fun, I also learnt the importance of teamwork. Without a single person whether an actor, technician, prop team member, or director our drama would never have turned out well. Every role mattered. This experience not only helped us better understand the lessons from the Bible stories, but it was also a great way to increase our class cohesion. Looking back, I can truly say it was a very rewarding competition.
