Prize Giving Ceremony 2026

On the 13th July, our school held its Prize-Giving Ceremony to celebrate the achievements of our students and to honour their tremendous dedication and hard work. From outstanding performance to meaningful contributions, every award reflected the effort each student has put into their journey at STC. We were also proud to recognize students who received different scholarships—an encouragement for their good work and a reminder that their success is well-deserved. Below are two heartwarming shares from our emcees:

Serving as the emcee for this year’s Prize-Giving Ceremony was a rewarding experience. On stage, speaking into the microphone and reading the script was my way of honoring the achievements of our fellow Shungtakians. I could feel the collective pride of our teachers and peers through every round of applause, which gave me a new perspective on the diverse talents in our school. It showed me how we support and unite to celebrate one another’s success.

Having the opportunity to be the emcee of this year’s Prize-Giving Ceremony was truly a great honour. Standing on stage with script in hand, I realised I wasn’t just reading names, I was narrating stories of dedication and perseverance. Each round of applause was the sound of our community cheering together, filling the hall with warmth and pride. I saw the joy on awardees’ faces and felt the unwavering support from our teachers and peers. This experience gave me a deeper appreciation for the diverse talents within our school. It reminded me that success is much happier when celebrated together, and I am grateful to have played a part in honouring our fellow Shungtakians.
